In 1847 the railway arrived in Brockenhurst. It transformed our village bringing communication, prosperity, employment and visitors to enjoy the New Forest. But it was an accident. David Bennett will talk, supported by pictures, about this key part of Brockenhurst heritage as part of the national Railway 200 events.
